Jorge carrillo

Experienced Educator and Mentor with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Skilled in Montessori education, Secondary Education, Educational Consulting, Lesson Planning, Educational Technology, Bilingual Education and ESL. Strong education professional with a Master’s Degree in Teaching and an AMI Primary Diploma focused in Montessori Teacher Education from The Montessori Training Center of St. Louis.

I have been a passionate advocate of child-centered education and Montessori education for more than two decades. Since 1999, I have worked as a classroom teacher with children aged three to fourteen. I have also worked as a parent educator and new teacher mentor since 2018. I firmly believe that a child-centered, non-traditional approach to the education of young children can vastly improve society. I am a contributing author to several nationally published journal articles, books and blogs on the topics of teaching, classroom management and Montessori education. I have experience studying Non-Profit Management and Design Thinking for the Greater Good.
